Proclamation for a special session of Tuvalu Parliament

Tuvalu Governor-General has proclaimed a special session of Parliament during this State of Public Health Emergency, to be held on Thursday 26 March.
 
To be considered at this special Parliament session will be the two motions on the extension of the State of Emergency under Section 35 of the Constitution, and for Parliament to authorise the withdrawal of funds from the Tuvalu Development Fund for the TC Tino and Coronavirus responses.
 
The normal session of Parliament scheduled for Tuesday, 23 March had been canceled due to the State of Emergency declared last week.
