Israel to share COVID-19 vaccine with Pacific and world if successful
11:06 pm GMT+12, 13/04/2020, Israel

With countries racing against time to find a vaccine against COVID-19, Israel will share it with the Pacific as with the rest of the world without discrimination in a worldwide mass vaccination campaign, if successful.

“Israel is working together with many other nations in developing a vaccine and there seems to be progress in finding one”,Tibor Schlosser, Ambassador of Israel to the Pacific Island States confirmed.

“There seems to be progress but it still needs time. I am certain that if Israel or any other country will reach wishful results, it would share it globally and without selectivity which includes our dear friends in the Pacific Island Nations.”

Over the weekend media reports from Israel has confirmed that Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, sanctioned a special flight to the Holy City with experimental vaccine ingredients to help speed up the process of a potential novel corona virus vaccine.

For years, Israel has been recognised as having significant medical breakthroughs including the worlds first bone implants, disabling of cancer cells and artificial corneas amongst other dramatic medical advances.

In sending warm wishes for good health and resilience for the Pacific people Ambassador Tibor, urged everyone to take all precautions and listen to advise from respective Governments and authorities as a stay home order and curfews has been announced in most Pacific nations.

“It is also very important to honor the bravery of our emergency response workers keeping us all safe, despite risking their lives to keep us breathing. We salute you and remember you in our daily prayers,” he said.
